We are in Helene!

We arrived in Helene (after 1 hour in a bus & 45 minutes in a boat) at around 10 o'clock this morning.  We unloaded the boat and the staff gave us a quick tour of the facilities.  After getting settled into our settled into our rooms, we ate a nutritious lunch.   Now, we are hard at work!

Just wanted everyone to know that we are finally here.  Hopefully tonight, we will get a chance to read some of your comments!  Thanks for your prayers!

Glad you made it to the island! Enjoy the bananas, they are so much better when they are fresh.
Misha wants Alex to pet a wild iguana.
Andy wants Bonnie to pet a wild crocodile.
Well, I gotta go enjoy indoor flushing plumbing and my nice hot shower.
Keep an eye on Katie she is quiet but sneaky.
Cathy, What language do they speak in Helene?

So thankful you guys made it safely. I will continue to lift you and the work you are doing there up in prayer. I am also praying that the hearts of those you come in contact with will be receptive to God and salvation.
May each moment be joyous as is true when we are "in the Will of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".
Love, Claire

Be sure you all read Nate's blog "9:03pm Update (And a fun story) " and watch the video at the end of it. Big surprise.

Hope your first full day in Helene was a great one. Don't drink the water, (except out of that special faucet in the kitchen).
